- Event
- Saturday, June 04, 2016
Details:
Special Olympics Healthy Athletes ® is a program that promotes the overall well-being of people with intellectual disabilities through programs that ensure ongoing access to quality, community-based healthcare services. In Vermont, we offer a variety of free health screenings. Special Olympics Vermont will provide free screenings for athletes at the 2016 Special Olympics Vermont Summer Games, taking place June 3-5th at the University of Vermont. We seek the help of volunteers to administer the screenings under the direction of Special Olympics Clinical Directors. We are seeking volunteers with an interest in health and nutrition to promote healthy lifestyles to the athletes.
