State Legislative Day

Save the Date!

Vermont Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic is hosting a Legislative Day on March 16, 2017 at the State House in Montpelier.

We will be showcasing RDs throughout the state via a display for our state legislators to learn of the work that you and RDs within the state provide to Vermonters. Legislators are very interested in learning about health care professionals making a difference for Vermonters.

This year's theme is "RD's Connecting to the Health of Vermonters"

We need members! Come out and show our legislators how nutrition is an integral part of the programs that their votes support and how RDs and DTRs play a vital role in these programs. Show them that there are many of us who care about influencing nutrition policy and promote the unique contributions RD's and DTRs make in the field of food and nutrition.
